This week Karen is joined by Jenny Jaeckel, award winning author and illustrator. She has written several books, including her most recent book The House of Rougeaux. Her new book, Boy Falling, will be released on July 22nd.
Jenny shares some recent and favorite reads, including Black is the Body: Stories from My Grandmother's Time, My Mother's Time, and Mine by Emily Bernard and The Time of the Doves by Mercè Rodoreda. She also shares more about her own writing, including her current project, a graphic novel about high society rats in New York City.
